Roses waited for an answer, but it never came. It was then she noticed the door was slightly ajar. She popped her little head in to ask if anyone was home.

Inside, baby Gu was busy trying to build a new chair. Too absorbed in his task, he mistook Roses’ voice for Jono the Owl’s.
“JUST COME IN!” He shouted.

But Little Roses never got to finish her sentence. As soon as Gu saw her, he jumped straight up! He turned pale as a ghost. Through the hallways of his new home, his scream echoed.
